LESS-THAN-TRUCKLOAD

Why choose less-than-truckload shipping?

Windsor Transport Solutions LLC knows its customers' goal of less-than-truckload (LTL) freight shipping is to cut out all wasted time when shipping a small load on a time-sensitive delivery basis. This method allows shippers to only pay for the space they use, making it less expensive than FTL freight shipping. If you have freight to ship that cannot fill an entire trailer (1-18 pallets or up to 10,000 pounds), we offer three types of LTL freight shipping methods.

Expedited Shipping

When you need to ship freight quickly to satisfy the 24/7, on-demand needs of customers, expedited freight shipping is the right method. Time critical or urgent shipments are transported to their final destination with little to no stops along the route, streamlining the transportation process to ensure a faster delivery.

Partial Shipping

If your shipment is bigger than an LTL freight load, but not as large as FTL cargo (e.g., 8-18 pallets), and you want to minimize the number of stops and frequent handling to reduce the risk of damage to your goods, choose partial truckload shipping. Freight class is not required and rates fluctuate with the market based on mileage, weight, space required, and lanes.

Volume Shipping

Smaller than partial truckload, but larger than LTL (e.g., 6+ pallets), volume shipments rates are typically established by the LTL carrier and require freight classification.
